How does the repair procedure work?
- You can simply send your device to the address below with the SERVICE FORM (please click to open). Alternatively, devices can also be handed in on site HERE in Berlin. There are no other branches apart from Berlin.
- Pack your device with the ac adapter in shockproof packaging and send it to the address below.
- After we have received your device, we will inform you by e-mail (service@electronicloop.de). Please also check your spam folder.
- After the repair has been carried out, we will inform you by e-mail (service@electronicloop.de). Please also check your spam folder. Your device will be sent back to you once payment has been received.
- If the repair is unsuccessful or not possible, only a return handling fee (check below under "What happens if the device cannot be repaired?") will be charged. Which is more than fair.

How long does the repair service take?
Currently, a standard repair (such as LCD, keyboard, battery, or charging port replacement) usually takes 2-4 working days (Mon-Fri) plus shipping times. A mainboard repair currently takes 2-3 weeks plus package delivery times.
Do I have to send the hard drive?
Please send the hard drive with your operating system installation if possible, so that we can test your laptop after the repair with your operating system installation reasonably. The background - in rare cases we have to extensively install drivers on our test hard drives to be able to test your device reasonably. This can take several hours in the worst case. If you cannot send us your hard drive with the operating system installation (e.g. for data protection reasons) and it comes to a time-consuming driver installation, unfortunately a driver installation fee of 35€ will be charged in addition to the repair price.
Can I drop off my device in your repair shop?
Yes you can drop off your device Mon-Thu from 10am-6pm and at Fr from 10am-5pm HERE.
Will the mainboard be exchanged?
No the mainboard will not be exchanged. The mainboard will be repaired at the component-level.
Can I send only the mainboard?
We need at least: CPU, cooler, power button, display with display cable, HDD cable and DC jack.
If you have battery problems, please send the battery too!
What happens if the device can't be repaired?
In this case a return handling fee of 49,99€ per device (plus shipping costs: Germany 7.99€ / EU 19€ / UK/Switzerland 39€) will be charged, which is more than fair.
Yes. 6 month warranty for work done and parts changed.
Extended warranty.
The extended warranty covers all defects that may occur on your device.
The normal warranty from us covers only elements replaced by us and the work performed by us.
There is no warranty claim in case of:
- Liquid damage
- lightning strike and in case of overvoltage damage
- fall and other mechanical impacts
- fire damage
- other external effects
The extended warranty must be ordered no later than two weeks after the repair. The warranty is active from the receipt of payment.

What if my device has other symptoms?
Then the fixed price for your laptop model also applies.
What if my device is not listed?
Just make a short request via CONTACT. Please specify your laptop model, history and symptoms.

What are repair costs for liquid damage?
For mainboard repair, the fixed price for your laptop model also applies, but the peripherals such as LCD, keyboard, battery, etc. are not included in this price.

Are there any other costs for me?
There are usually no additional charges, provided your device does not have liquid or drop damage.
In the remaining cases (defective graphics chip, northbridge, PCH, display and other costly defective spare parts) additional costs are incurred for the spare parts. In case of additional costs, however, you will be asked in each case whether the repair should be carried out or not. Should you refuse the repair, please refer to "What happens if the device cannot be repaired?".
Are repairs from non-EU countries accepted?
Only under certain conditions!
1. if you declare your package with the device under the total value of goods (including shipping) under 20€, then you can order the repair and send us your device from a non-EU country.
2. if you have the possibility to send your device to us from a neighboring EU country (e.g. Switzerland from Austria or Germany or UK e.g. from Ireland), then you can order the repair and send your device to us.
Parcels which end up at customs will not be accepted, because it is extremely bureaucratic to "release" the equipment from customs.
It is also quite possible that the packages will end up at customs even if you have declared the total value of the shipment below 20€.
We can send devices to a non-EU country, but you have to take care of the customs clearance yourself. Alternatively we can declare the total value including shipping to less than 20€.
Return shipping to UK or Switzerland costs 39€. Other countries on request!
